Customer and supplier monitoring

See the warning signs before a customer goes bust, and know the day it does.

Put your customers and suppliers on one watchlist. For UK companies we warn you when accounts go overdue, a strike-off is proposed, a director or owner leaves, or a winding-up petition is advertised. In the UK, France and the Netherlands you hear the day an insolvency is published, so you stop supplying on credit and do not miss your claim. 250 companies for €19 a month.

Insolvency alerts

Watch every company you are owed money by

Put your customers and suppliers on a watchlist once. We watch them every hour and you hear about each new notice the day it is published, before the next invoice goes out.

  1. 1

    Add your list

Paste company numbers or upload a CSV in your dashboard, or add them through the API or the MCP server. Customers, suppliers, anyone whose failure costs you.

  2. 2

We watch for the signs, then the notice

Companies House is re-read at least weekly for watched UK companies: overdue accounts or confirmation statement, a proposed strike-off, a director or owner leaving. The Gazette, the BODACC and the Dutch insolvency register are read every hour and each notice is matched to its company number, including notices that cover a whole group.

  3. 3

    You hear the same day

An email and a webhook with the warning or the insolvency stage, the date and a link to the official record.

When we checked 130 companies shortly before they became insolvent (October 2026), 15 showed two or more of these signs at Companies House at once; of 130 companies that stayed out of insolvency, 0 did. One sign on its own proves little; two together are a much stronger warning.

When you need an answer now

Check one company, and keep the proof

One call by company number returns the stage, whether it means the company cannot pay its debts, and a link to every official notice. Every API and MCP check also returns a signed receipt: a public link that records what we showed and when, for your KYB file or credit decision.

  1. "stage": "administration"

Where the company is in an insolvency, reduced from the notice type: petition, winding-up order, administration, liquidation and five more.

  2. "insolvent": true

False for a dismissed petition and for a solvent members' voluntary liquidation, which The Gazette prints under the same headings as an insolvent one.

  3. "latest_event_on": "2026-10-17"

The date the latest notice was published, so you can tell a fresh petition from an old one.

  4. "events[].source_url": "https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/..."

A link to the official notice for every event. The notice is the authority; the stage is our reading of it.

  5. "found": false

No notice on record for that company number. A real answer, and not the same as a healthy company.

  6. "receipt.url": "https://insolvencyradar.com/receipts/r_..."

A signed record of what we showed and when, to file with a credit decision or hand to an auditor. It names the company, never you.

Questions

Before you rely on it

What does "no notice on record" mean?

For a UK company, that The Gazette has published no corporate insolvency notice for it since 15 July 2025, when our records begin; for a French company, none in the BODACC since 10 October 2025; for a Dutch company, that it is not in the Dutch insolvency register now (we cover legal entities, not sole traders or partnerships). It is a fact about published notices, not a credit check: a company can be in trouble long before a notice appears.

Which companies are covered?

UK companies from every corporate insolvency notice in The Gazette, matched to the Companies House number, and French companies from every insolvency judgment in the BODACC, matched to the SIREN, with the date by which a creditor must declare its claim, and Dutch companies from every bankruptcy and suspension of payments in the Centraal Insolventieregister, matched to the KvK number. One watchlist covers all three. Personal insolvency, sole traders and Dutch partnerships are not covered.

How soon after publication do I hear about a notice?

The Gazette, the BODACC and the Dutch insolvency register are read every hour, and an alert goes out by email and webhook as soon as a notice for a watched company is matched.

Why not just follow companies at Companies House for free?

Following is free and a good backstop, but it alerts on filings, which usually come later. We compared 216 companies (September to October 2026): The Gazette published the insolvency first in 161, a median of 8 days before it reached Companies House. Companies House was first in 52, mostly court winding-up orders. A winding-up petition, often the earliest warning, is advertised in The Gazette but rarely reaches Companies House: of 50 petitioned companies we checked, 5 had any filing there. Following also cannot tell you a filing is missing: we alert when a watched company's accounts or confirmation statement go overdue, a strike-off is proposed, a director resigns or an owner steps down. A watchlist also takes your whole customer list in one upload.

Is a solvent liquidation shown as insolvent?

No. A members' voluntary liquidation, where the directors declared the company can pay its debts in full, is labelled a solvent liquidation and reported as insolvent: false, even though The Gazette prints the same headings as for an insolvent one. That is not rare: of the 15,472 liquidation notices in The Gazette in the last 90 days, 4,906 (32%) were solvent.

How do I get an API key?

Pick a plan on the pricing page; the monthly and yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial. You create the key in your dashboard the moment checkout completes, and the same key works for the JSON API and the MCP server. Company pages on this site stay free to read.
